General rules that apply to every bet
These rules apply to every game, bet and spin placed with us. Where a game carries rules of its own, those rules apply to that game in addition to this page, and the terms of any bonus you have accepted apply to play funded by that bonus.
- One account per person. You may hold one account with us, registered in your own name and used only by you. Play on behalf of someone else is not permitted, and we may ask for identity documents at any point as part of our verification checks.
- 18+ only. Our games are open to players aged 18 or over. An account that cannot pass our age and identity checks is closed, and any balance is handled as set out in our terms and conditions.
- Real-money and bonus balances. Your account can hold a real-money balance and a bonus balance at the same time. The balance a bet is taken from, and the order in which balances are used, is shown in the cashier and in the terms of the bonus.
- Bets are final once placed. A bet, spin or hand is accepted at the moment the game server records it. Once a round has started it cannot be cancelled, changed or taken back, and a stake placed by mistake is still a valid stake.
- Stake limits. Minimum and maximum stakes differ by game and by table and are shown before you bet. Any lower limits you have set yourself, or that we have applied to your account, also apply.
If you are unsure how a game works, open its information or help screen before you stake real money. Where a demonstration mode is offered, you can use it to get familiar with the controls at no cost.
Your own limits come first
Deposit limits, loss limits, session reminders and time-outs can be set from your account at any time. A tighter limit applies as described in your account; loosening one is subject to a cooling-off period.
How bets and spins are settled
Every outcome is produced and recorded by the game server. The result held on the server is the result that counts, and it is the record we use to settle your bet and update your balance.
What appears on your screen is a presentation of that result. If the display does not match the record on the server, the server record stands and your balance is corrected to it.
- Winning combinations, features and the value of each symbol or hand are set out in the paytable of the game you are playing.
- Slot and instant-win games use a random number generator to produce each result on its own. Earlier rounds have no effect on later ones.
- The theoretical return-to-player figure is shown in the information screen of each game. It describes a long-run average across a very large number of rounds, not what a single session will return.
- Wins are credited in the currency of your account and appear in your transaction history.
| Game detail | Where to find it |
|---|---|
| Paytable and feature rules | The information or help screen inside the game |
| Theoretical return to player | The information screen inside the game |
| Minimum and maximum stake | The bet panel in the game, and the limits shown in your account |
| Contribution towards bonus wagering | The terms of the bonus you have accepted |
Malfunctions, disconnections and unfinished rounds
A malfunction voids all pays and play. If a game, its software or the connection between the game and our systems does not work as intended, the affected round is void, any amount credited in error is removed, and your stake for that round is returned to the balance it came from.
Errors in a display or a credit
Where a result, balance or payout is shown incorrectly, we correct it to the record held on the game server. If an incorrect amount has already been withdrawn, it is treated as an amount owed to us and may be recovered from your account.
If you lose your connection
Games are built to pick up where they left off. When you reconnect, an unfinished round either resumes at the point it stopped or is settled automatically by the game, and the outcome appears in your game history. Where a round cannot be completed at all, the stake is returned and the round is marked void. Some games keep an unfinished round open only for the period stated in their own rules.
Closing your browser, logging out or opening a different game does not cancel a bet that has already been accepted. If a round is still open, return to the same game to finish it.
Bonus funds and promotional play
Bonus funds, free spins and other promotional credits follow the terms of the promotion they came from. Where those terms and this page differ, the promotion terms apply to that bonus.
- Wagering. Bonus funds carry a wagering requirement. Until it is met, bonus funds and anything won from them stay in your bonus balance and cannot be withdrawn.
- Maximum bet. While a wagering requirement is open, a maximum stake per spin or hand applies. It is stated in the bonus terms and in the cashier.
- Game contributions. Games contribute to wagering at different rates and some are excluded. The rates and exclusions are listed in the terms of each promotion.
- Patterns of play. Covering most or all outcomes of a round, playing in a way designed to clear wagering with little risk, or using a feature purchase where the promotion excludes it, may lead to the bonus and anything won from it being removed.
- One bonus at a time. Unless a promotion says otherwise, you work through one bonus at a time, and bonus funds expire if the requirement is not met within the stated period.
If a bonus is removed because its terms were not met, your real-money balance is not affected.
Live casino and table games
Live tables are hosted by a dealer and run to the rules published in the help file of each table. The result of a physical deal, spin or roll is the result that stands, as called by the dealer and recorded by the table system.
- Bets must be placed inside the betting time shown at the table. A bet that arrives after betting closes is not accepted and the stake is returned.
- Once the dealer closes betting, any later action on your device has no effect on that round.
- If a card is exposed or dealt out of turn, or a wheel or shoe result cannot be determined, the round may be declared void and stakes returned.
- Minimum and maximum stakes, side bets and any seat rules are shown at the table before you join.
- If the video stream fails, the round continues on the table system and is settled on the recorded result, which appears in your game history.
Courteous use of the table chat is expected. We may withdraw chat access, or access to live tables, where it is misused.
Queries about a settled round
If you believe a round has been settled incorrectly, contact us on live chat or write to support@casino-playuk.co.uk. Please give us the following details so that we can trace the round quickly.
- The name of the game or live table, as it appears in your game history.
- The date and time of the round, together with the time zone you are using.
- The round or transaction reference shown in your game history.
- The stake you placed and the result you expected.
We check the server record for that round and come back to you with what it shows. That record is the basis of any decision we reach, and we will explain the outcome in plain terms. If our answer does not settle the matter, our complaints procedure explains how to take it further, including referral to the alternative dispute resolution provider named in our terms and conditions. We hold a gaming licence for the games offered here and verify the identity of every account holder before a withdrawal is paid.
If play stops being enjoyable
You can set a limit, take a time-out or self-exclude from your account at any time. Free, confidential support is available from GamCare, GambleAware and the National Gambling Helpline, and GamStop can block you from online gambling sites that take part in the scheme.
